A permanent investment vehicle established by the Government of Ghana with US$ 345 million anchor equity to act as a catalyst to leverage private sector funds into infrastructure assets in Ghana.

Investments

The Fund’s primary objective is to catalyst the development of critical infrastructure in Ghana and at the same time to generate adequate financial returns to meet the shareholder’s objectives

To meet this key objective, GIIF will implement strategies that are vital to managing a profitable, diversified, and balanced set of investments. The Fund is targeting commercial returns on its investments.

The acceptable level of return for an investment in a project will vary depending on the level of risk to the Fund’s capital that is determined during the due diligence phase.
